The Enigma 3 Hydrophone Data Loggers provide a specialized leak location solution for plastic pipes and large-diameter water mains. Unlike external vibration sensing alone, the hydrophones connect directly to the water network and detect leak-generated pressure waves traveling through the water column. This approach improves sensitivity over greater distances and helps crews investigate pipe networks where leak signals may be difficult to detect from the outside of the pipe.

The three-logger system records acoustic data for multi-point correlation analysis and can be programmed for one, two, or three sampling periods to help separate constant leak noise from temporary water use. Narrow band filtering supports analysis of low-frequency signals and can produce usable correlation results across longer distances. With external hydrophone connections, 24-bit sampling resolution, IP68-rated loggers, and an eight-position rugged transfer case, Enigma 3 Hydrophone is built for repeatable field leak surveys and clear software-based analysis.
