How They Work
Our industrial commercial earth ground anchor range GR14 works on the same principles as our GR13 general-purpose range, only up-spec'd. The shafts are thicker, the hex heads are larger, and lengths are available in 17.7 inches (450mm), 23.6 inches (600mm), and 35.4 inches (900mm).

Hold Down Capacity
In our tests, we found that compared to a spike stake of the same length and girth, the GR14 delivers 3x to 6x more holding power!

Installation Tips:
Consider adding a 0.6 x 35.4-inch masonry drill for easier installation, especially on harder grounds.
Usage Recommendations:
Use D or Bow shackles rated to suit your load.
Installed and removed using a high-torque impact drill, providing greater force and safety without protruding above the ground.
Recommended Tools
For driving these into the ground, use a high-torque impact wrench. Suggested models:
Use a masonry drill at least the same length as the GR14 for pilot holes in harder ground.

Always hold your drill firmly with both hands and use the inside of your legs as a drill guide with the drill handle in between your legs to help prevent torque twisting, wrist, or other injury.
Always start your drill on the lowest torque setting. Use a good-quality high-torque drill or impact wrench.
For hard or extremely hard grounds, we recommend pre-drilling a minimum of a 0.6-inch (15mm) pilot hole to help with insertion.
