It features two patented striking shields that can withstand repeated hits of a trowel for adjusting out-of-line bricks. It has tough, reinforced aluminum rectangular frame and precision-milled measuring surface that offers an accuracy of ±1/32 inch at 72 inches.
This mason’s level by Stabila is equipped with one horizontal and two plumb vials that are strategically positioned for easy reading. With these epoxy-locked acrylic glass vials, it guarantees long-term reliability that requires no re-calibration. It comes with optional rubberized hand holes (36-inch and 48-inch models only) that allow easy handling and comfortable grip. With a metal hang hole, it is convenient to store off of the floor.
The Stabila 196-2K Mason’s Level with Shield includes shock-absorbing rubber end caps that protect its frame against impact from falling or dropping.
