RD510 Standard Pressure Kit combines acoustic pipe tracing and leak detection in one system for water utility maintenance, repair, and irrigation troubleshooting. The 4 bar Pulsed Water Valve connects the transmitter to the water system, creating a repeating sound that travels through plastic and other non-metallic pipes. Operators can follow that signal with the ground microphone to establish the pipe route and identify areas where leak noise is strongest.
The control unit features a 7-inch HD color touchscreen, spectrum analysis, adjustable gain and volume, and up to eight hours of operation. A piezoelectric acoustic sensor, telescopic pole, headset, and interchangeable ground-contact accessories help maintain clear sound pickup on hard and soft surfaces. Actual tracing distance and leak depth depend on pipe construction, water pressure, soil composition, and surrounding noise.
