The LaserLine 5m Metric Direct Reading Grade Rod - Optical is a reliable tool to
aid construction professionals in setting and measuring actual elevations without adding or subtracting. It features
a moveable, matte-textured tape face that provides easy visibility even under bright sunlight while protecting the
markings against wear and fading. These large, metric scales in centimeters offer great readability at a distance
making it excellent for use with optical instruments.
This grade rod by LaserLine is composed of heavy-duty front and rear rods that are made of clear anodized aluminum
material. It can withstand the harshest conditions at job sites and will not rust, swell, warp, or split. To ensure
smooth and trouble-free operation, it utilizes a solid tape lock with internal brake slide. Its high-strength brass
tape lock grommets are oversized to prevent it from tearing the tape.
For guaranteed long-lasting performance and extra durability, the LaserLine Metric Direct Reading Grade Rod comes
with tough DuPont nylon parts. It has a tape lock pin that will not puncture or rip the tape when pushed against it.
Choose from two available length variations: three-meter that expands from five feet and five inches up to nine feet
and seven inches or five-meter that is adjustable from eight feet and five inches through 15 feet and 11.25 inches.
