Introducing the NEW, more
sensitive DML2000-XR. The DML2000-XR's new XR,
or eXtended Range setting, doubles the sensitivity of earlier models.
Here's what one satisfied customer had to say:
Built on the same familiar favorite,
the DML2000-XR is highly accurate, reliable and user-friendly. Weighing in at just under 2.0
pounds, it's light yet built tough to operate under the most demanding field
conditions. It's economical, operating up to 50 hours on four standard AA
alkaline batteries. You'll never be concerned about dead batteries in the
middle of a search operation since its built-in Low-Battery indicator warns you
when the battery-life drops below 8-10 hours.
This magnetic locator
is a joy to operate with only two controls, a Sensitivity control and a
combined on/off Volume control. Simply turn the unit on and adjust the volume,
then set the sensitivity to a nominal setting of 2 and GO! Easily locate
objects such as property markers, septic tank lid handles, manhole covers, well
casings, valve boxes, cast iron pipes, steel drums, unexploded ordnance and
more, up to ten feet deep.
Separate controls mean
you can now turn the unit off and later resume work with the sensitivity setting
unchanged. No more readjusting every time you pull it out.
It's easy to understand
what the DML2000-XR is telling you. As you walk in a search pattern, sweep
the locator back and forth. The audio tone remains constant until you approach a
target. The pitch increases and then peaks when the locator's tip is directly
over a target.
Neither snow, nor rain, nor heat,
nor gloom of night stays these locators from the swift completion of their
appointed task! You'll have to forgive our humor
but we want to emphasize the solid design of the DML product line. The water
proof sensor housing and water-resistant electronics enclosure guarantees
all-weather performance. Our innovative circuit design and component selection
ensures perfect operation whether it's -20oF or 120oF
outside.
You'll use this
locator with confidence. The electronics package is made of
resilient, impact resistant ABS plastic. The sensor
tube and base plate are made of strong 6061-T6 aluminum. The two critical sensing elements are
isolated from damage inside a separate shock-mounted support tube within the
yellow external sensor tube. Adding this supplementary isolation guarantees
sensor alignment and
overall performance that will withstand normal physical abuse and harsh weather
conditions. All electronic components have been carefully selected with long
life and harsh-environment operation in mind.
